Haut-Médoc
Regular, conscientious tasting of the wines during vinification and, finally, the careful adjustment of their blending ratios determine the profile of a Château Citran.
Only the best parcels of the estate vineyards in the Haut-Médoc contribute their Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc to this work of art.
The wine matures for 15 months in barrels selected by the best coopers, 1/3 of which are new.
The oak wood enhances the structure of the wine and provides a complex aromatic palette and a harmonious and balanced mouthfeel with plenty of finesse without masking the fresh, full fruit of blackcurrants – a delight!
