Alsace is known for its excellent Gewürztraminer, and Charles Baur from Eguisheim makes a truly special one. The wine exudes a delicate aroma of roses and lychees, and similar flavors unfold in the mouth; a certain residual sweetness creates the impression of candied fruit. Very aromatic with lots of volume and a long finish. As an aperitif or with strong cheese.
