Trollinger

The Trollinger - grown at Eberbach-Schäfer on the "Helfenberger Schlossberg" on heavy Keuper soil - is one of the lighter, drinkable red wines.

The bouquet has fine cherry notes, some raspberry and a hint of strawberry jam.

For a red wine, it contains quite few tannins.
Of course, it goes wonderfully with spaetzle and Maultaschen dishes!
