Zweigelt Reserve
This Zweigelt Reserve from Winzer Krems matured for two years in oak barrels and exhibits aromas of sour cherries and dark chocolate. Dry, with 13.5% alcohol, this wine has a cellaring potential of 5-10 years. Ideal with hearty dishes.

A cross between Sankt Laurent and Lemberger (Blaufränkisch) that is just 100 years old and thus a "new breed", Zweigelt has become the red wine variety mainly grown in Austria.
This Zweigelt Reserve proves that a new variety can produce a delicious wine. Matured for two years in oak barrels, it impresses with dense fruit aromas of black and sour cherries, well-integrated oak, and soft tannins.
There are also delicate hints of dark chocolate on the finish.
If you like, you can let this wine age even further: it can be stored for 5 - 10 years.
